Pizzeria Via Mercanti

Great place for authentic Italian food. This will definitely be my go-to place for Neapolitan pizza and pasta when I am in Toronto.

The prices are fair and reasonable for Toronto. The quality of the food, wine options, and caffè make this a great spot for anyone who wants to take a quick trip to Southern Italy.

My favourite pizza place in the city! The dough is fresh and the perfect chewy texture, sauce is sweet perfectly seasoned and the topping choices are incredible and delicious. I always get the Funghi pizza. Highly Recommend!

My wife and I first came to this place 6 years ago when we used to live downtown and were very impressed regarding pizza flavour/quality, service and cleanliness. We went about 3-4 times a month before we moved. We came back recently when we were in the area and it just wasn’t the same.

The restaurant was still clean, but the pizza and service did not compare to as before. Sad to say cause we really did enjoy this pizza location before. Would have to think twice if we decide to go back again.

Amazing place, first of all the stuff were really friendly, the atmosphere was good and the location too. Talking about food the pizza was delicious, proper Italian style. It was so good that I ordered another one straight after the first. Very tasty. I also got a tiramisu at the end which met my expectations, it was made following the original receipt. I'll definitely come back many times to this place :)

Came here for dinner based on friend's recommendation. Not super impressed but this place is "decent". I'd prefer the pizza a little bit more crispy. The pasta was a bit blend but the tomato sauce was good. Probably won't repeat... There are lots of other places to try in the neighborhood...
