The service and the quality of the food is amazing. My wife and I both ordered two different salmon dishes and they were both delicious. In fact, is it the best salmon I have ever had in my entire life. I recommend this place for the quality of service and the quality and taste of the food. I am planning to return soon.

Surprisingly good. Did not know the place existed but ran into it by accident. I am glad I did. Food was so well priced and delicious for what it’s worth. I recommend this place for any type of occasion.

Friend and I got 4 appetizers and a maki roll to share. Based on other japanese restaurants I've been to I expected to be satisfied but not necessarily full.

Well they start you with a soup and salad, and then our appetizers came out and filled our entire table... and then the sushi boat came. We were struggling to make room and they upped it by adding the steam to the boat! We ended up paying $30 + tip each for a huge meal with great service, and we didn't even have to ask them to split the bill. Love it!

There's definitely some hospitality you get at this Izakaya that you don't get at other Izakayas in the area. Miso soup and salad included with your food, or fresh made potato chips if you're just having drinks. Service is great, prices are fine, food is good. Sushi is well made and tasty, the bar food is pretty good with certain items better executed than others. Would definitely to give Rain a shot. Oh and they'll always give you a pitcher filled to the top!
