Rodney’s Oyster House

Very good seafood restaurant. The oysters and the clams are very worth it for the price. We were sitting at the bar and the ambiance was everything we could have expect. The gentleman serving us was super nice and we had great conversations with him. I will definitely go back whenever I’m in Toronto.

What a great night at Rodney's Oyster House. A few of us were there to celebrate a birthday and the hospitality was incredible. The server amazed us with the oyster selection, the delicious chowder soup & our main courses. For the special occasion, they brought out a dessert for the birthday boy. He was so excited when he left the restaurant. Thanks again. ????????

This was a very good place to go and eat. New to oysters so they helped us try many to find the ones we liked. Food was good but not the calamari. The waiter ended up asking if we liked the calamari and I said it was okay. He was so nice he kept insisting we say we didn't like so he can remove from the bill. I felt bad so I lied and said I did like it lol. However good place, great service, good food..... good job guys!

If you are looking for the best oysters in Toronto, here is the place to go. We were welcomed by the friendly staff. We said that we would like to try out different oysters and the staff is so nice that he said he will decide for us. His selection didn’t disappoint us, the dozen selected oysters covered 4 breeds and all were fresh and full of character. We then pointed out that we loved those that are very creamy and we were given another set if dozen oysters accordingly. Such a no brainier and we loved the vibe too.

I am Not an oyster connoisseur by any means; therefore, I will refrain from delving into any oyster feedback. I can say, that the servers were very friendly and fast paced. If you're okay with a quick know-what-you-want environment then you'll enjoy Rodney's. If, you are looking for a quiet relaxed ambiance, this is not it.

1) know your order beforehand (keep your inquiries minimal)
2) be okay with fast servers and loud ambiance
3) the alternatives to oysters were okay
