Sushi Shop

The rice and fish were fresh! I saw my sushi being made. It was seasoned perfectly. I'm a huge fan of wasabi and ginger and they were generous with it! I don't know what the other reviewers are saying because I thought the staff were friendly ????

This place excels in making sushi as the name implies (poke too), but not so well in ramen. The associate is well mannered and professional though.

Sushi Shop at York Lanes is a new (quite pricey) addition to this place. Also, I was not pleased with serving of my food in plastic containers since my food was not a take out. Miso soup was good, veggie tempura too greasy and and consisted of just a few small bites of vegetables. Sirocco Hako sushi (Osaka's boxed style sushi (a traditional form of sushi unique to the Osaka region) was delicious but,as I said before, I resented its placement in a plastic box. In my opinion this place is too expensive for the portions it serves. Sushi shop lacks proper serving dishes for those who want to dine in.
What a shame since this place could be absolutely fantastic being that they have incredible variety of sushi and other items.
