Swiss Chalet

I am regular at the Queens Quay location and today myself and co-workers decided to come to Swiss Chalet to have lunch. Now I usually don't have the best experiences at this location, but today we choice to come because of the chicken and this time it was better. We enjoyed the food it was hot and came out fast and fresh, please tell your kitchen chef or staff amazing job and please keep doing what they did today, it would make your business better by far.
When I come to the restaurant with my family or friends the food always takes to long to come out? But this time the service was amazing maybe it was because it wasn't that busy there was only a few tables, or maybe you actually have someone who knows what they are doing. We were greeted with a smile which is great because when I do come other times I never see servers smile or any employee when coming to this location. Tasha and Randy the manager both did great and everyone was happy with the results. Our server and the manager gave us great service, she gave us what we ordered in less the I would say 10 mins and also the finger bowls are way better then the wipes I may say your other server should do that to!! . This location always has it downs but if you have people like the ones who were working today who can do the job properly instead us making customers wait so long then I am happy to bring myself and more people to this location more often.

Despite the mediocre reviews decided to give this a location a try since it was close to the Harbourfront concert stage. Also, there's a special for a limited time for 2 chicken dinners $15.99. We got there are 5:30pm and there were hardly anyone there on a Friday night. My mom likes ribs so we ordered the half rack. Word of advice: stick to the chicken and do not order ribs - they were very dry, lacking in flavour, and definitely not fresh off the grill. And, other Swiss Chalet locations I've been before do seem to be better than this one.

The food is great and the service is excellent. The place wasn't overly busy, but seems they were understaffed during the evening dinner rush. The noise level was acceptable as you didn't need to yell or shout to carry a conversation. I ordered ribs and found them okay. Maybe they were a little dry, I didn't really mind as I still received Chalet sauce (only reason to go I think). Overall, it is a nice place to eat.
