The George Street Diner

Small diner with great food. The Irish breakfast with their homemade soda bread and jam is so delicious and filling. The eggs have dark orange yolks and are so tasty. I highly recommend.

We really liked this diner! The service is very friendly, the food good, the music super nice and the typical diner atmosphere was just what we were looking for! I recommend! We had the ultimate Irish breakfast, it was awesome... And kept us going for the whole day ;)

Friendly staffs! A bit of a wait for the food but it was worth it. I had their omelette of the day since it was my first time there, and wanted to try their best. I wasn’t really impressed with the omelette but it was one of a kind. The diner is cute! I’d still go and try other food from their menu and would definitely get a drink next time!

Small but mighty! George Street Diner is one of my favourites in the city. The atmosphere is welcoming and comfortable with a view of the kitchen behind the bar. The staff are very friendly and attentive.

As far as food goes, I had the french toast which comes with a small side of fruit and real maple syrup, and to drink I had a coffee. I was so full I couldn't even finish my plate.

Tip for anyone planning on going, go early if you can wake up early! I went at 9:00am and got a table right away. When I was leaving at 10:00am there was a substantial line out the door. This place is a wonderful experience, and it isn't a secret!
