(November 15, 2019, 11:10 pm)Old school braised chicken rice (since 1830) in modern digs with Edison bulbs adorning the ceiling. You're greeted with a enthusiastic Ni Hao when you enter and service is friendly and pleasant with good English spoken. A place with only two main types of dishes served so no decisioning required. It's essentially old China in a bowl.
Had both the boneless chicken and the beef brisket. Stick to the chicken, found the beef too oily. The chicken had the right amount of grease to go nicely with the rice. A kick of spicy also helps with it being savory.
The side dishes are also tasty. Cash and debit only. -
