중화루 Joong Wha Ru

Affordable price for great portion of food! I highly recommend this place for large grp of ppl and even for small grp!! I always go here w my friends and we can never even finish all the dishes and we all eat like monsters. Try the flame taste jjajang (간짜장). I find it way better than the regular one and it’s only ~$1 difference. But the seafood jjajang is a bit disappointing bc there arent much seafood in it. But it’s not really pricy so i get it. I would just order regular gan-jjajang. Jjambbong is good, gwobarou is amazing, tangsooyook is ok, yangjangpi is great, yoosanseul is great too. Mapatofu is good and cheap! Gganpoongi is good too. I also felt combo menus come out smaller in size than if you would order from the individual menu.
(Update) they used to have a fried egg on Gan-jjajang but it’s gone now.. not sure if the kitchen forgot this time or they got rid of the egg.. the additional egg was actually really good tho...

Service: there used to be this one girl who is super slow and seemed to not know whats going on. When question was asked she would take forever to answer or sometime no answer but just smile only. I dont think she should work at a fast time consuming places like restaurants. However i didnt see her last time (tuesday night) so maybe they got rid of her. (Update) No, shes still there and still very slow and slow response.

Food speed: (update) They used to be super slow but now they arent that slow anymore.

If you like spicy foods, recommended. Even kimchi is quite spicy for me although I am very used to it.

Fantastic food with great value for quality.
Service is quick and efficient. It's not fancy but good quality with nice decor. Had a fast lunch - dinner, especially BBQ, would be good to try on going back.

Ordered fried rice and black bean noodles. Were happy with both. All the other people in the restaurants were Korean- always a good sign that it’s a good Korean restaurant.

It's awesome. Moreover, the price is pretty low. I strongly recommend.
