We were looking for a quick place to eat before the Danny Bhoy show last night, and came up the Crazy Canuck. Have to say we were really impressed with how the quality exceeded the prices. The po' boy sandwich was fresh, they were generous in their use of shrimp and the coleslaw was amazing (I don't use that word lightly, especially when it comes to coleslaw). The salad was made with romaine, and the dressing was great. All fresh ingredients, which is super important to me. The piece of resistance, though, was their Snow Shoe dessert. That alone was worth the trip! Staff was super friendly and attentive.
Liam and his crew did an outstanding job for our son's November wedding.
All meals, including vegan, vegetarian or dishes for specific diets, were delicious.
Guests complimented his selections on numerous occasions during and after the wedding.
His well-known Crazy Canucks poutine later in the evening delighted the guests.
Special attention by the servers ensured tables were replenished and guests requests addressed.
Prior to the event, Liam ensured all requirements for serving and delivery of the dinner worked for both his staff and family concerns.
Bar details under his management went smoothly.
We can't thank Liam enough for his help and support from the beginning to the end of the event.
Was downtown and planned on going elsewhere and didn't work out. Went in prompt service , friendly staff and good food. First time going! Enjoyed my meal thank you!Basic nice clean diner. Love the fact that the tables are not too close together so it is not too loud.Eggs and bacon breakfast and the omelet was just as expected.
Excellent food, chill, relaxed environment, great tunes, great service and superb professionalism. Had a pleasant chat with Liam who is a stand up guy! Crew are cool too! Burger; Crazy Canuck and Ceasar was delicious. Highly recommend this hidden gem!
These fine Canadian gentlemen worked crazy hours and with crazy deadlines to prepare some of the most delicious food for the artists of the Kitchener Blues Festival. Everyone loved their menus choices and some asked for seconds.... Their shaved salt crusted roast smoked brisket was a popular choice. Their spiced and smoked chicken was also delicious. Conversation lessened while people dove into their plate.... always a good sign of delight.
