Honestly, I love Ye's. Every new sushi place I try, I always end up comparing it to Ye's. Everyone seems to have a different favourite sushi place. Ye's has been mine since the downtown Kitchener location first opened. Yeah, the quality used to be better, but it's still great.

Service was typical "order it yourself" sushi. Food was good, but not incredible. I've yet to be blown away about sushi restaurant. The servers could have a little charisma...

The food is good during the weekend but from Monday to Friday you can feel the food isn't fresh. Shrimps are chewy and the chicken all the time is cold, no clue why. But the worst is the service. Super rude waitresses throwing the plates on your table and taking your food without permission. There is only one kind girl there, the rest, zero courtesy. So if you want just eat and you don't care about service, go for it.

Great selection of foods, waiters are attentive but unintrusive. Fast service. Can get busy at dinner on the weekends.

The sushi here is really good and the atmosphere is relaxing. The quality is consistent. I highly recommend the spicy salmon rolls and the spicy dragon rolls (neither of which are super spicy). All you can eat is a great option, but don't order too much as they charge per roll that you don't eat if you leave more than a couple. Ordering is done on a tablet which is really cool and the system they use is pretty intuitive. This is my go-to place for sushi.
