I love this restaurant!
It's my go to place for shawarma and felafel.
5/5⭐ - customer service (consistent in positivity, good attitude, smiles and helpfulness)
5/5⭐ - quality of food (I appreciate the care they put into making the food. I also enjoy the fact they make their own bread and you can watch it happen) - it's a great experience.
5/5⭐ - very clean space & the location is very convenient, especially for students.
My dad told me about Chic Pea a couple of months back. I took my girlfriend here today and we both loved it. The food was amazing, the staff was extremely friendly, and the restaurant had a chill vibe. I would definitively recommend the pizza if you want to try this place out. Best food in KW!
Authentic Middle Eastern food to crave for. All freshly made and the cooks are passionate about their cooking. Please remember to compliment them to keep the good food coming. The servers are very good and keep you constantly informed about the status of your order. Food is reasonably priced. Portions are not as large as one would get in the Middle East, but good enough for Canadian standards. Excellent charcoal flame grilled meats and pita. I live 130km away from this place but will visit this place each time I visit my daughter at the Univ or after my trip to St. Jacob's Farmers Market.
The food is absolutely fantastic and well worth the price! Amazing flavours and the restaurant is very clean. The service is well meaning and friendly. If I had one suggestion it would be to refine the customer service skills. The appetizers came out with the main course, and we waited for long periods of time even though it wasn't busy. The servers seemed inexperienced. I would definitely go back though!
I felt it was a little pricey at first but the quality of the food justifies the price. The restaurant is very clean. The cook behind the counter was friendly and funny. I love that they make their own pita! I’ve been to many Mediterranean restaurants throughout the GTA, Hamilton and Niagara and this is up there with some of the best! Highly recommended!
