Service can be mediocre at busy times. Portions are too small. For example, Sangria is served in a glass that is just a little bigger than shot glasses and then there is plenty of ice in it so so basically get a shot of very tasty Sangria for full price.

Love love love McCabes. It’s my favourite bar uptown Waterloo.

The staff are incredible and treat
you just like family. The drink prices are reasonable and the food portions are just right.

The music nights are very special with Jessie Pitcher playing most weeks as well as other special guests on Saturdays.

Definitely worth visiting. I have had multiple events there since they opened and have always had a good time.

Look out for Karen, Taylor & Adam. They are the best servers in the place.

Been to this place a bunch for lunch. It's a bit and miss for how fast the service is going to be. Sometimes it's fast and other times it's very very slow. In terms of food, it's always been good,.no matter what I get. The samosas as to die for if they have them. I usually get the chicken Caesar salad or the lunch special. The loaded spud fries are amazing with the curry sauce.

The pub in Waterloo is stylish, and is typical of the new eateries vying for your patronage in the new uptown Waterloo. The menu is fitting an Irish pub, but nothing special. There is s good selection of beer, but again not better than the competition. The service was friendly but slow. We ordered a coffee and it took 15 min. but was good. We were not asked if I would like a refill.
Ordered wings on special and they were excellent.
Ordered Shepherd's pie and it was dreadful. Looked good, but no gravy, and mostly potato, little meat, and watery. The dish should be a signature for a pub, but not good.
Pricing is reasonable, with specials every day.
Although the glitches, it is a viable option for a meal in downtown Waterloo.
