    If you've tried all the restaurants in the city head on down to the apple butter capitol of the world, the beautiful town of Wellesley. The Nith River Chop House is a great place for a family celebration, a nice date or just a reason to go to Wellesley. The food is very good with an almost log cabin type of look and feel on the inside.

    Service was amazingly slow but food made up for it in tasting great. Best Caesar Salad I've had in a very long time. Definitely not Reness nor Kraft dressing. Friendly and very busy. Quaint place. Not recommended for Vegans as the Decor is Rawhide seating. Many extra pieces of them hanging over the low walls. Beautiful taste in use of rawhide. Definitely not for Vegans!!Seems like they are modeled after the many Mennonite Farms out in that area that still exist as mentioned on the menus. Food is freshly prepared and so tasty.

    Great food, but not if your in a hurry. Good place to go and have a relaxed meal and couple drinks.
