Unbelievable. Cocktails were the best we’ve ever had. Ambiance is amazing. Truly a classy vibe in the place. Great food - had the cheesesteak. And the owner was so kind and chatty. He even gave us a free drink they were testing out! Will be back next week !
This is by far one of my favourite places in Guelph. From the amazing staff to the amazing food, this place has it all. The atmosphere is amazing for if you're just looking for a low-key place to grab a bite and have a drink, or just simply have a drink with some friend. The servers and staff here are amazing, and definitely show what "customer service" is about.
Everything about this place has so much thought and care put behind it.
Keep doing what you guys are doing! Stay gold!
This place is amazing. Since my first experience in their soft-opening this has become my favourite place for food and drinks in town. Never had a bad item on the menu.
Most importantly they make the best cocktails in town at very reasonable prices. Can’t recommend this place enough.
The thought and care into cultivating a good experience sets this place apart. Gin flight was made with house infused gin and house made tonic. Thoughtful cocktails. Honestly, this is the best burger in town. Definitely try the brussel sprouts (said no one ever, but do it!)
We were walking around downtown last night looking for someplace good to eat. we had another place in mind but decided to check out Gin Mill. We weren't disappointed. While the menu isn't very extensive, the food is absolutely delicious. We each had the burger which came with fries and everything was cooked to juicy perfection. The portion was perfect! The only two things that we found that could be improved upon were the lighting and the wine selection. The restaurant is very dimly lit which makes for nice ambience but would be nice if it were slightly brighter. Also, they only had one red wine available, a California Cabernet Sauvignon, which at $13 for 5 oz is quite steep in comparison to other restaurants. Regardless, we still gave 5 stars because lighting is just lighting, and it is a gin bar after all not a wine bar. Oh, the service was also exceptional. We will definitely be going back when we're in the mood for a delicious Burger and to check out if there's anything new on the menu.
