“Had my car detail cleaned close by so was looking for somewhere to wait for a few hours and came across this little cozy place. I only got a sugar-free vanilla iced latte, but was tasty; albeit a bit pricey ($5.60 after tax). I sat undisturbed for hours in the corner on their free wifi. The staff serving me was super friendly, but there was another girl that, although friendly, did not look like she wanted to be there. Another woman, who I assume is the owner, talked the entire time I was there with them (kind of took over the area with the comfy seats). Overall good experience. I will return to try the food.”

“Wow! What an absolutely incredible restaurant (and bakery!!). You must try the Yorkie! It was heavenly. Our biggest issue was that there were too many delicious sounding choices on the menu! Tried the Lamb Burger (delicious) and the Salmon sandwich (also awesome). For dessert, the chocolate zucchini cake is so moist but I have to say I would choose the cheesecake as it was scrumptious. “Just what this neighbourhood needed! I love this place so much from the decor to the open kitchen to the marvellous brunch. The eggs Benedict is divine. They also have free coffee refills for their breakfast special which I believe is under 10$. Moreover, comfy seating, friendly staff, great coffee, modern and clean bathrooms. The portions are good and it’s right by the Shepard subway. I only wish the restaurant was open past 3 pm!”

Today, I ordered a 'signature drink' Ginger/Turmeric drink. I ordered it with oat milk (hence, $6.70 later). The drink was weak, taste like water-down milk and NO sign of turmeric in it, more like a lemon was splashed in my white drink. NOt palatable and not instagrammable!”
