    ***** (FIVE ) stars for the food. Very good food, for what it is this place ( more of a fast food style although it is NOT) and the price of a dish. Of course it would not be fair to compare it to a restaurant where I pay 100-150 $ / dish, therefore I can not give 5 stars either. The place is old and not renovated, but I come here for the food : Not for the service, not for the decoration. The taste is really good and authentic. Highly recommended if you like spicy Bangladeshi / Indian food. Owner is here most of the time which is great. It shows the passion that goes into the restaurant. Try it and most probably won't regret it. Being in a very quiet area...the schedule is weird...so is only good for lunch. Like they open at 11am and closes by 2.30 pm. Or 3 ...! Really cheap eats !

    I was previous owner of Restaurant. So, so glad to see it has a new life! I will drop by next time in Montreal.

    Attended a nice party there! Very good food, nice chef and staff, and the place is lovely and cozy!

    If you prefer spicy Indian food it's one of the best places to try it.
