Their pies are amazing, so much variety and for a great price, very easy to eat as well. The restaurant itself is a bit cramped, although they do have outdoor seating in the summer. They don’t always have each pie in stock, so if there is a specific pie you want, it would be good to come here. Conclusion: this is a good place for a light lunch that you eat there or take on the go.
I'm kicking myself for all those years that I passed by this place and never went in. This place makes the best pies in Montreal (from what I've tried so far). I can't believe they blended such unusual flavors together with a pie which is extremely well made. Indian food in a pie, that was a first for me. Keep up the good work. I hope you expand across Montreal, you're doing a great job.
Just ordered from Skip the Dishes. Very satisfied. Makes me miss my sister and brother-in-law and the trip I took to Sydney this past summer where I tried an Aussie pie for the first time. I'm literally crying over this little personal pie right now. But not because of the food, lol.
Being Scottish I consider myself a pie conissour.... best food ever... I ate two pies one after the other and thought about eating the paper serving baskets as well just incase some of the delicious pie flavours had rubbed off on them....
As someone who's pretty picky over meat pie crust, this was delicious! The beef and cheese pie was freshly made and almost melts in your mouth, a great alternative from the usual French-Canadian pies.
The owner answered my questions very nicely, making it overall a pleasant experience!
