Best Latin food in Quebec! Always a joy coming here.
Great fresh food, family friendly, owner friendly, clean restaurant
This place is a ray of sunshine, even more in the cold winter we can have here. First thing, the food is delicious. Second thing, the portions are perfect. Third thing, the staff (/owner?) is real nice. Fourth thing it's budget friendly at 13$ the main. I went there with a friend, I had the Arroz con pollo y guandule (rice with chicken and peas/beans) while my friend had the Bandera Dominicana ("Dominican Flag" or Rice with pork and peas/beans). And since it's the winter/we just live to eat we shared 2 enpenadas,a chicken one and a beef one.
The restaurant is located at the heart of Quebec City, and it's one the cheapest in the area.
The food was delicious, we took the chicken meal. I liked the idea they have a limited menu, it makes the restaurant very authentic. The design inside was very great, simple and not exaggerated and the owner was nice and friendly. The only reason I didn't give a five is that I thought the portion of rice and salad they give was less than enough and the soups were a bit overpriced.
Overall, I definitely recommend it.
Great little place to stop for coffee of snack. The owner is super friendly and lights up the room with his smile. The place is very warm and cozy and many locals go there. If I even visit the city again I would for sure stop by there and get a cup of coffee and bowl of soup:)
