Restaurant Sagamité

This place is awesome. First I want to thank the owners who made our visit memorable, not only for the food they served but for their warmth and hospitality. The food was amazing. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful. We had “Potence Des trois panaches “ as well as wild boar, my personal favorite. The 3 meats in the trois panaches was Elk, deer and bison. We also had Vegetable and potatoes served with the meal. The elk, deer and bison were cooked in front of us on the table which made it a great experience.

The service was very very slow, but the food was really good. They need more Cocktail and better Wine choices. Please PLEASE consider linen napkins and real butter that does not come in a plastic pack!! The decor is very rustic and native, but nicely done.

Have to say we had one of the best meals of our lives here!!! Food was absolutely delicious. We had the dinner for two bison, elk and venison!! Service was excellent ! The chef is exceptional!!!

The restaurant recently reopened after a fire at a new location in Quebec on Rue Saint-Louis. Really happy I noticed them while walking, as I was disappointed when I heard from reviews here they had closed.

The food was delicious—I ordered the Walleye from the lunch menu. The sauce paired so well with everything on the plate. We got three different types of bread as well, all very good (the one with dates especially). Even though there were picky eaters in our party, they were also satisfied.

The service was excellent, they accommodated our English language needs with such patience. A great experience!
