“A simply great place to visit. Personally I only spent a few hours here, however I do intend staying as a guest at some point. The museum, tour and guides were excellent. The beer in the bar, very well kept. Also, the restaurant menu looks to die for and beautifully presented. Clean and tidy everywhere, plus log fires burning up and downstairs. The staff everywhere were charming and most helpfull. And a special thank you has to go to the oh so charming and accommodating hotel director who assisted myself and my travelling companion with a lift back into Quebec city. I'm sorry I forgot your name, but thank you so much for your help and charming conversation. Maybe see you as one of your guests next year.”

“We ate here as part of a package with entry to the Museum and long house. We were a party of seven children and seven adults. When we arrived for the three course lunch at our reservation time they had thoughtfully set the children at one table and adults at another. The menu selections for regular and children's menus were interesting. They served the children first which we appreciated. The food was beautifully presented and expertly prepared.”

“The service was very very slow, but the food was really good. They need more Cocktail and better Wine choices. Please PLEASE consider linen napkins and real butter that does not come in a plastic pack!! The decor is very rustic and native, but nicely done.”
