“The decor is idyllic. The large terrace overlooks the Richelieu River. We were there for lunch on a Monday afternoon. You can order table d'hôte or à la carte. I took, as a table d'hôte: salmon tartare as a starter, filet de bar as a main course and a sorbet-trio as a dessert. All for $ 30, with a glass of rosé from Portugal for $ 9. The salmon tartare was perfect. Generous and well spiced. The fillet of bar was cooked to perfection and presented with seasonal vegetables well cooked too. The trio sorbet included raspberry, vanilla and mango ice cream. Light and very tasty dessert. Cedric provided the service. A very kind and globe-trotting youngster who can have conversation, without invading. He knows how to make a meal pleasant. We were five and all the other guests also enjoyed their food and service.”
