“OMG, it's amazing. I was confused at first because the photos on Google don't equate to the place, but it's not on the corner, it's the next building down with the hot dog sign out front. It's got a children's playground, and an enclosed place for you to sit. They have amazing hot dogs, but the best, most fantastic poutine I've ever eaten. I came from Connecticut, but originally I'm from Ontario, and I've been missing quality poutine since I last visited Quebec. I was directed here from the proprietor of Cabane à sucre l'Hermine as a place where many people eat, and a good source of quality poutine. She wasn't wrong! Cold, squeaky curds, and hot gravy and french fries! Amazing and definitely not over salty like some bad poutines I've had (why can't most people get it right?). I definitely insist you drop in if you're in the area. The name translates to the neighbourhood canteen, and it really is a quality hidden gem.”
