“Lovely place. We had a very large group (we booked ahead with a planned menu), and they handled it very well with not many staff. Staff was very friendly, and were great with the kids we had with us. Food was excellent, lovely location, with a patio out back beside a lovely lawn and stream.”

“Waitress was very friendly, checked on us often. Very cozy restaurant, loved the small town at home feeling. Very happy that the waitress was bilingual as we only speak English. We travel to Eastman once a year from Morrisburg Ontario and this place has definitely earned a yearly stop in!”

“Good food, service needs to be better. Took too long before we got asked for drinks and the actual food order. Pasta arrived cold. Then there was a mistake and we did not get our mains until we asked what was going on. Turned out to be a simple mixup on their part, which happens, but is still frustrating. On the positive side, the bistro fare was well cooked and presented. Would recommend and go back, but not with much enthusiasm.”
