“It was a short stay but I really enjoyed it. There are different types of lodges to stay in, giving the hotel the feel of a European ski village. The bed was very comfortable and the room was tidy and welcoming. The one thing I didn't like was the frosted bathroom door, which offered limited privacy, and a little light on the hair dryer in the bathroom was on all night (unable to be shut off), so it was difficult to sleep.”

Loved the berries and herbs growing around the patio. The kids were invited to sample some and they loved it. The mushroom protein burger was excellent.”

“When the brewery next-door says, “You gotta eat here,” you gotta go! The best supper ever and the nicest husband and wife duo! They make the most delicious pizzas - a goat cheese, pesto and mushroom and a duck confit, apple, onion, goat cheese - and took it back to our hotel in N. Hatley. There are four little seats inside, but it’s more of a takeout place. And those meat pies...”

“Pretty decent burger for it being Canada and all (honestly the only really good one has been at holy chucks in Toronto). Fries were good (but very salty). Decent beer selection and the staff were friendly and attentive. I reckon this would be a great apres ski place. Really nice terrace too.”
