“This is McDonalds. I only gave it three stars because it wasn't busy and the drive a tea and latte took to long. My Caramel Latte tasted much better than in US locations.”

“We got the meat panini, very good. And staff was really friendly. My wife is allergic to mustard, so they made a fresh sandwich without it. Thanks!”

“The restaurant is by the water. The food and the service was excellent. We ordered the "Deer" which was deer meat, very tender, with king mashrooms and green beans from the garden, and the "Ravioli with beef stew" which was really good too. Unique cooking and very tasty. I would recommend both these dishes.”

“Very good food and friendly staff! A bit pricey, but the breakfasts are definitely worth it!! They have a wide variety of good quality tea and offer refills, which is amazing. Perfect place to chill or study (but it can get noisy at busier times).”

“Absolutely wonderful cafe! I've been driving by for a few years and kept saying to myself I want to check it out. Finally went in today. Not busy, waitress was extremely sweet and kind. The food was well portioned. I find most breakfast places serve you a massive meal (such as a pound of home fries) that ends up going to waste. They have healthy options and soul food. The early bird special is an amazing price. The taste was a lot more quality than most places I've been to! I wish I went sooner; I'll absolutely be back! My other half and I have decided this will be our go-to breakfast place. Lastly, I heard this place was pricey? I found it an amazing price and paid less than I would have at other breakfast restaurants.”

“The workers are always very nice to my husband who goes there daily on his way to work. A mature group who are genuinely interested in his day and always have his order ready before he even gets to the counter. The lines move quickly and efficiently. One of my favourite McDonald's to go to.”

“Took our toddler son here on a Friday night for some dessert. Called ahead and asked if they were busy and the woman on the phone said there was a couple tables available. Came in and there was no hostess at the front for a couple minutes. When she finally came we said a table for three and were told she’ll call our name when she was done setting up the table. There are a number of empty tables still at this point and we still ended up waiting about 10 minutes after she took our name down. While waiting we noticed one of the prep people cutting strawberries straight out of the carton - not washed? On top of that a couple other people just standing around chatting while this one hostess is setting/cleaning tables. Best part is we got seated at a table that was empty since we walked in. Servers that aren’t doing anything is just standing around instead of helping the poor hostess clean or set tables. Very poor management from what I can tell or lack there of on a Friday night. I remember why I stopped coming here years ago. Last time I came here was probably at least 5 years ago. At least the dessert was pretty good but you can’t really mess up scooping ice cream right?”

“A small and cozy place with Himalayan music and decor. Not a hipster coffee shop. We had a hot chocolate and a latte. The hot chocolate was delicious because they used milk rather than water, and wasn't overwhelmingly sweet. The latte was delicious as well. The drink art was the focal point of the experience for us. The art was too cute to drink! The barista is very talented. I just wanted to admire the art rather than destroy it by drinking. I suppose that's what pictures are for. Here's a picture of our drinks with a sea salt chocolate chip cookie.”

“I found this secret unknown little place to locals (A guy told me he lived on the same street than the restaurant and it took him 2 years to notice it) that is mostly visited by South American people. It is as small as it is delicious. The chef puts emphasis on quality over anything. It has a small menu but everything is exceptional and incredibly fresh. Their Churros can't taste any fresher and their empanadas give you a taste of heaven. Don't forget their awesome seafood soup. The prices are pretty reasonable and the owner (Carlos) is a really nice guy. You MUST try it, but don't tell anyone, it's a secret ;) .”

“I miss the location and folksiness of the old market at the train station. This modern building is nicely designed, nicely lit and pretty, but it lacks some character. There seem to be fewer merchants. The former market was more intimate, and the narrow aisles made it feel like more bustle. The new place, in a large parking lot near a stadium requires a bus trip or driving (yuck). Probably more convenient for the vendors, but less so for those visiting from the city center. There were fewer places to get food for eating there, too. I hope it gets busier in the future.”

“This place is a jewel. Visit it on the afternoon and grab a sausage sandwich. Finish it in style with an order of carrot cake or apple pie. Everything is so terribly delicious! The ambiance of this place is soothing and welcoming. By far the best little cafe in Quebec city.”

“Service and pastry were good. Cozy atmosphere (especially next to the window where the heater is). Nice selection of coffee. However, the coffee was disappointing. I ordered a medium cappuccino. Unfortunately, almost 2/3 of the cup was foam. I can't imagine what I would have received if I had ordered a small.”

“We had an exceptional experience at, Bar Artefact. We went for an after dinner drink and dessert. There are historical artefacts displayed in the bar, the decor is modern fun and inviting. 2 private sections with firplaces that overlook an ancient fort. We enjoyed their homemade hot chocolate with Kahlua and Baileys. Drink and dessert all in one! It was devine! Absolutely delicious. The service was spectacular, the prices were reasonable. We will definitely return to enjoy their restaurant as well.”
