“I've had the chance to visit many nice restaurants across Toronto, Montreal and Quebec City and this is seriously one of my favourite. The food is epic, some of the best I've ever had. The tastes are extremely high profile and there's really been a lot of careful thought put into the tastes. Very nice area too. I recommend going in the later evening then for a nice walk in that general area.”

“Wednesday night, hitting Quebec at 5pm with no idea where to eat. Quite a few in neighborhood but tried Louise Taverne and so glad we did. Without reservation we wete seated in comfortable seats at the bar. Staff very friendly to us and we were able to observe all great food coming from kitchen. We enjoyed the fish & chips, very hot and plentiful. Salad was fresh, cold and flavorful. Highly recommend.”

“We decided to treat ourselves to a wine pairing dinner and this restaurant had great reviews! The reviews told the truth! First of all you walk in and immediately meet the chef and his team. They give a very warm welcome. I also love that he (Raphael) and his sister (Laurie) took over the almost 30 yr business from their parents and continued on. What an amazing dinner experience. I had the 5 (actually 10) course wine pairing dinner and my friend had 3(6) as she is a vegetarian!”

“This was our last meal in Quebec. Well let me tell you, this restaurant has an amazing view, but above that the food was absolutely tasty, affordable and of quality. The service was wonderful. They do have a lunch menu where you choose your appetizer, your main dish and comes special priced wine and dessert. Coffee included. Sizes were just perfect. We had a great lunch and it was absolutely worth it and delicious.”
