(March 20, 2021, 9:17 pm)Good, really good, BBQ. Had the Brisket, today, superb. So was the pulled pork. Sides of green beans, yams, cole slaw are excellent, as is the sweet cornbread. Don't care for the Mac n Cheese, though.

(September 18, 2020, 2:50 pm)The Pirates Pit opened pretty shortly after Hurricane Sally hit the area and stayed open way past their normal hours cooking up the best bbq I’ve ever had! Seriously! They are a blessing to this community and it was nice to have something great to eat while we have no power! I highly recommend the pulled pork! Going back today for more! Again, this is some of the best bbq I’ve ever tasted! I’m hooked!
