Bubba's Seafood House

It was going to be an hour and 45 minute wait to be seated so we decided to drink and eat at the bar. Bartender was extremely rude from the get-go. Not sure this is quite the job for her. She really didn't have a tons of humor and wasn't friendly at all. We ordered our food and it didn't come out for over an hour. I'm assuming something went wrong. Never really an apology or a discount for the late food. Food was mediocre. Their gumbo is supposed to be 'famous' but it was just okay. Same with their pickle fries and they were super salty and just okay. Will not go again.

We just got here tonight, but we are excited to be at the beach. Stopped here because we didn't know where to go, and we were pleasantly surprised at how good the food was and reasonable prices compared to other seafood restaurants we have eaten at in other towns. Good food. Friendly service.

5 stars is not enough to describe this place. I do not eat real seafood just Captain D's but their Firecracker shrimp appetizer was amazing. I got the 12 ounce ribeye and I dont believe I have had one cooked to perfection like they did ever before. The wife said this place is some of the best seafood she has ever had so if you come to the Gulf Shore/Orange Beach area and do not eat here then you are at a major loss. Cocktail menu, outstanding. If you like key lime pie the you MUST try the key lime daiquiri.

We actually had a great experience here. The staff was so friendly and accommodating, we never had to ask for one thing. They kept our drinks full and the food was delicious.We had a server named Louis and he was great! We had a party of 11, four of them kids 7 and under. They even turned one of the TVs on cartoons for them.!
