The Gulf - Orange Beach

Absolutely incredible restaurant in orange beach. I’m a local, and I’d have to say this is my all around favorite restaurant for atmosphere and food. There might be a line to get food but once you order, it comes decently fast. The food is top notch, fresh, and flavorful. We came here two nights in a row because you really can’t beat these prices and quality down here. I also love the atmosphere of beachy, but not tacky like a lot of the surrounding spots.
The shrimp or fish tacos are flavorful and filling, the poke bowl is big and has fresh tuna, the crab cakes are moist and some of the best I’ve ever had. My husband also loved the grouper sandwich.

Great food. Grouper sandwich is very flavorful. Order system designed to handle massive customer volume and works well. Very relaxed atmosphere with a great view of the gulf. Beach games for kids were nice as well. Service was excellent, food being delivered in a timely manner. Drinks were just as ordered. A return to The Gulf is required soon.

Rather expensive but the food was still excellent and the beach was absolutely beautiful. This establishment also offers a full service bar where you can order beers and cocktails. The outside seating area was comfortable and very well set up. They had lights strung up, and everything was just really nice. I'd come if you're looking for wonderful spot on the beach to enjoy some lunch.

Great atmosphere with lots of room for kids to run around. The chicken sandwich was tasty and the view was fantastic.

2021 Update: We went back to gulf shores this year and were able to visit this place again. The Chicken sandwich was still excellent. We choose to avoid flying this time around and we able to take advantage of the Tesla Charger. This is a great amenity and was definitely one of the reasons we came back. Thanks

We really enjoyed our time at Orange Beach. The Gulf added to our enjoyment. We were able to eat here twice, once for lunch and then special request to return from our kids. This came highly recommended from family to be sure to visit the Gulf on our visit. We were not disappointed.
