R and R Seafood

A bit disappointed. Haven't eaten here in years, but last time I did it was excellent. Ordered catfish for lunch and they no longer serve, need to update their menu. So I got the popcorn shrimp with fries and coleslaw. Coleslaw tasted strange, may have just been me, but couldn't get it to taste better even after adding a lot of pepper. The meal was served way too long quickly. My popcorn shrimp were barely warm and a bit rubbery. They must have been sitting under a warmer for quite awhile. Waitress was super nice and I would say service was good, but they sacrifice food quality. Too many other fine restaurants on causeway I would recommend.

Bottom place to get Crawfish! Order them to go or eat them there...R and R also has great Royal Reds and one of the very few restaurants to serve white shrimp. Don't over dress because this is a laid back true causeway experience.

The food was excellent. Masks were not required which was also excellent. So nice to be able to walk around like a normal human. Our waitress was quite hilarious and kept us happy. Would go back again.

Crawfish was outstanding! And the butter they use for the spicy red potatoes is to die for! My only problem was not having enough stomach room to fit everything I wanted to eat! Wait staff was very pleasant and I would recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic Louisiana seafood. I’ll definitely be back again!

Always a good meal. Out of catfish today but they subbed fried grouper for my lunch. 3 large fillets, delicious hush puppies and Cole Slaw. 12 pounds of crawfish to go. They were a little small but it is very early in the season. Just happy to get them at all! Always a good stop to make on our way through Mobile. Friendly and efficient service.
