The Gathering Place

The Gathering is well known for its Southern hospitality and warm welcomes! I'm very particular about my food and the owners and servers make sure I'm served exactly what I requested. The Burgers and Wings are my favorite. You can enjoy a great meal, entertainment and words of encouragement 😊

Absolutely the best!! The fried pork chop is my FAVORITE, but everything on the buffet is amazing! Anytime we’re asked to suggest a place or take people out, THIS will be the place! Everyone was so great and the owner made his rounds, checking that everyone loved what they were eating! Everything about this place is exactly what you look for in a soul food restaurant! Will definitely be back…often!

First time eating here, and I'll be back. All you can eat or order off the menu. Can't be easier. Friendly staff!
Best BBQ chicken I've ever had. Sweet potato casserole was Superb! Cornbread was spot on!! Cheryl took great care of each table and always smiling.

Chicken was one step away from being burned. It's very confusing how to order and please check your receipt because I was overcharged. My meal was supposed to be $12 and when the bill came it was over $20.
It was adjusted when I called it to their attention, but I shouldn't have had to. The wait staff were all personable and friendly, but a couple of staff that tend to seating were indifferent.
