Great food! We were looking for All Day Breakfast. Food came out hot and quick. Service was good. Prices are very reasonable. Definitely worth going out of your way for. Bring cash no credit cards accepted. Sign says "Kozy Korner II"
This is a Ma/PA local diner. We had pancake, sausage and egg, coffee and biscuit and gravy.
The only down side is we couldn't tell if they were open because their sign has no light! The upside was across the board. Homemade biscuit and sausage gravy. Homemade pancake. Coffee was hot and strong. We were seated as we walked through the door, with a 😃, and service was quick. A great start to our day!
Review of "Friendly G's"
Sign says "Kozy Korner II", and it doesn't look like much from the outside, but don't pass it up. Food was good, hot, quick, and cheap. "Friendly" is in the name for a reason - every single person, employees and customers, greeted us with a smile and/or good morning. There was friendly chatter at and between tables. The hubs & I had a pleasant and delicious hot breakfast for 10 bucks and some change (plus tip). What a nice first stop on our road trip! 🌞
Great food & service! Menu prices up a few pennies but the food quality is so superior that it more than makes up for this slight Inflation. Always have the Swiss burger & fries, loaded with gravy, onions and mushrooms and it's beyond delicious. Enough for quality leftovers. I order mine in a to-go box because I know it's going home with me!
This is the kind of spot my husband looks for when we travel - good old fashioned country cooking. It's not the cleanest, but they were friendly and had good food.
My husband got a hamburger steak with sides (hot okra!) and I got a salad topped with fried shrimp (pretty sure they were SeaPak, but they were hot and delicious nonetheless). Nice option on the road. Cost around $20 for both of us with tip.
