The Nest Bar and Grill

We were graciously greeted by a woman with such a true hostess vibe that I felt like it was her home. She took excellent care of us, clearly caring that we enjoyed ourselves. I had the Monday special -- pork chops -- just like my country-raised mother used to make. I tend to like food more intensely seasoned than my mother did, but I think most people will like their food seasoned the country way, just as it comes. I would only encourage them to change one thing: the plastic tableware. But when I asked for real utensils our hostess immediately got some. I encourage everyone to give this place a try. We will definitely be going back.

The hot honey chicken tenders were amazing! The meat was so tender! Very good service too!

I had the country fried steak with mashed potatoes and collard greens. Every thing was great. Their cornbread Ed fried pickles were amazing. The people were friendly and accommodating. Definitely worth checking out.

New place to eat in Calhoun County, Al and it's a must visit. The food is good country cooking! I had the Country Fried Steak and it was amazing (and huge). And the cornbread (comes with your meal) is delicious!!

The portions are plentiful, the service is excellent and the staff is extremely friendly. You feel like you're at home with family.

We will definitely be back!
