“When you walk in you can see and feel this place is very old and run down. It's tiny with only two very uninviting tables so its really a takeout place. Food was okay, truthfully it didn't taste much like chinese food. The fried rice was just a plain yellow rice. Beef with broccoli was okay the broccoli was fresh. The wonton soup was good. Make sure you know the menu and ask for a combination meal if that's what you want because the girl at the cash register will not offer any help and will happily charge you separately for each item.”

“Legit, like the best fried chicken I've had in forever! I haven't had Bo's since I moved to Texas in 1995 and I've always had a soft spot for this franchise. I talk it up every time I head back south and my family plays along, but neither of us on this particular trip expected the food to be as good as it was. Everything - the chicken, the sides, the biscuits - was hot and fresh, the counter help was helpful and pleasant and the store clean and homey. I may never come to this location ever again but, for now, it stands as the yardstick by which I will measure all franchise fried chicken. Well done!”

“The food was good, but my order (Ritz hamburger), was delivered to our table after everyone in my party had finished their meals which caused me to have to eat rapidly so we could stay on our schedule for today. The waiter came to our table multiple times after the meals were deliveried stating my meal would be out shortly. We could see the kitchen from our table and from the activity I figured the order had been missed... :(”

The cigar room is always stocked when I visit and they have a lil box room as I call it where one can pick out a nice cigar box to go. “Date of visits 10/21 & 10/23 2019. Anyone familiar with my reviews would recognize I like sub sandwiches. Firehouse is my favorite sub location and I took my mother there for lunch. I ordered a full-size Hero cut in thirds and we shared it. mom raved about it, but I was surprised when she asked if we could go back on 10/23. Subs are not her preference, but she liked the sandwich. I ordered the same, but somehow 'cut in thirds' became quarters. Oh well, it was still delicious and we made it work. Eat-in or take out, this is a nice place to visit and they are the best subs around.”
