“This place is a hidden gem in valley Alabama. They've been in business since 1950 and the food is delicious. They have a unique menu. Their burgers are on regular buns but the hamburger itself is small, but they have chili and ketchup and mustard on it. Seems like a weird combo to do because the burger seems so small but the bread is big. I ordered three at a time and they are delicious. you just have to go check them out they have a medium sized menu and go early or a little later or call it in because they are extremely busy at lunch. It's hard to explain their burgers but they are delicious with that chili they have on them. We ordered six burgers, two bags of chips into 16 oz Cokes for two people and it was $15. They get their meat from a local grocery that has fresh beef and you can tell the difference. Go by give these guys a try if you're ever in valley it's worth taking a detour.”

“This evening was the FIRST time I've ever eaten inside a Captain D's. My son and I order our food from a lovely girl behind the counter which was super nice. She brought the food to our table and even got us refills on our drinks. The food was hot and delicious and the restaurant was clean. Our bill was like about $25 bucks. we ordered fish shrimp stuffed crab okra broccoli and chicken strips. Food was bomb!”
