The employees act like customers are an inconvenience instead of welcomed guests. There was definitely no sense of urgency in serving anyone. It took a very long time to receive our order, with no explanation or apology for the wait.”

“We have eaten here quite often in the past 1-1/2 years and for the most part been happy with the prices and food... occasionally there have been issues with undercooked and under seasoned. Service has always been great. Tonight we went there for the first time in a couple of months.... even though it was not very busy they had an over abundance of waitstaff, but our service was poor! And now they are charging an up charge of $3.00 for any change in side items.... I asked for plain grits instead of sweet potato grits and was told it would be an up charge of $3.00! I’m just not going to do that... I feel like they are trying to get too fancy and sophisticated... now they even have someone to seat you as you come in. I miss the old place... it will be awhile before we eat there again I’m afraid! They need to go back to their beginnings”

“Drove 2 hours to get here for a surprise birthday dinner for my best friend. The wait was made much easier by the awesome fire pit out front. The food was all amazing and the service we got from our waitress Hannah Kate was perfect. I had the bison prime rib with mac & cheese and a spinach & horseradish sauce and it was excellent. “We didn't eat a meal here. We got a bowl of ice cream to go. Nothing beats homemade ice cream. They have a buffet. It smelled so good. I can't wait to eat a meal here. For $8.95 for all you can eat BBQ, Cobbler and drink for adults isn't bad. You do have to pay $1.50 extra for the homemade ice cream. Although I think $6.95 for children (I don't know what age Child that is for) is a little much. My Grandson couldn't eat enough to say it's worth it. They are only open Thursday - Saturday. They close from 1:30 to 4:00 I believe. Over all I think it's worth it.”

“Came here last week since I was visiting family on the mountain. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by the manager, Hannah. My first thought was that my experience might not be the best, since everyone looked like teenagers, even the manager, and young people (sadly) sometimes do not care about their jobs.. She and her crew proved me wrong. They were all friendly and the male cashier (do not remember his name) answered any questions I had. She managed her team with a smile and followed every request with a please and thank you.. in turn, her team replied with yes ma'am. She created an atmosphere where her employees were smiling and laughing and looked happy to be there, rare to find in any job setting. On top of all this.. my burger and shake was delicious and I only waited maybe 3 minutes on my order. I'm looking forward to coming back when I visit my family again.”

“We come here at least twice a month and I have NEVER had a bad experience. The food is always refreshing, delivered accurately and just great overall. I’m so sad that they are closed for a couple of weeks but I will for sure be back once they open back up! They’re definitely a highlight of Gadsden. “Surprisingly delicious food!! All home made. Best broccoli casserole in town. Best mashed potatoes now that Courtyard is closed. Best everything, if you're looking for a home cooked meat & 3. Or, in my case, veggie plate. Best selection of veggies around. Nice service! But, it's cafeteria style. The atmosphere is actually pretty cozy for what they're working with. Hopefully, in time, with continued community support, they'll grow to a larger, less gas station-y space. The food & nice people make it well worth overlooking the odd location & limited parking. Definitely, go try it! VERY tasty.”
