The food and service is number 1 in anyone's book. Perfect meal.

My mom and I havent been here in years and now I know why. We were so very disappointed. Its very crowded and very small spaces you can barely move around in that place!! No one greeted us when we walked in but there was someone standing at the cash register just staring out into the wild blue yonder. So we are like ok I know they are busy lets find a place to sit down. We eventually found a table and it was vert sticky and dirty. The waitress next to us was cleaning off another table. We waited and waited for someone to come take our order. Waited 10 mins or more. I know they are always busy so you would think they would hire more people or atleast hire fokks that know to work fast pace!! Like I said I was very discouraged...I might try again one day but this experience has left me questioning if I will ever return. I have had several other businessmen say they have had lunch there recently and it was so crowded they walked out. They were bummed they didnt even get to try the food. Ive heard good and bad things here lately also about the food but I won't rate the food until I try it myself. Everyones opinions are different. I really do love this place. Very historical and love the ambience but once you get in there its so over crowded its just really too much

Love the vintage feel of Magnolia House! The food blew my socks off and y'all Alabama folk do not dissapoint when it comes to the SWEET TEA. ????

Loved the home cooked meal! The prices are nice too!! And i was with one of my favorite loves!!

Average meat and three as far as the food goes. Cramped/crowded. If you are a local, this is probably 5 stars as you will dine closely with people you know. If you are passing through, you can do better.
