Bamboo on 2nd

Unique! Asian cuisine served tapas-style in a gastro-pub atmosphere. The four of us* tried 11 items from the menu, and we all agreed that everything was quite good and especially different. One would be hard pressed to find the taste experiences created at Bamboo anywhere else. It is unfortunate that the restaurant has little more than water and Coca-Cola to offer patrons who are not interested in alcoholic beverages (or alcohol-free versions of mixed drinks). It would be nice to see the creativity found in the food & sushi menus carried to the nonalcoholic beverage section. This was a small detail, however, and we enjoyed the food greatly, as well as the laid back atmosphere and friendliness of everyone. *Note: we had a reservation, and dined approximately 7-8:15 on a Saturday evening.

Innovative and tasty food, great atmosphere, and amazing service! This is an awesome new spot that wouldn't surprise me if it made B'hams Top Restaurant List soon! I have a feeling this place is about to kick off in a big way so I would come check it out before it's booked every night like Highlands Bar & Grill.

Absolutely delicious!! I got the New Moon Sushi and my friend got the vegetable noodle soup dish. If you sit outside they are already put in to go containers which is very convenient! Definitely coming back! (Note: for soup they give you a paper bowl but my friend wanted to eat out of the big container)

Very clean and accessible restaurant. They offer generous portions and for fair rates. I liked the menu very much and the waiters were very affable and explanatory. Highly recommended.
