Cantina Tortilla Grill

I stepped inside for the happy hour and was indeed happy when I found a locally brewed IPA on tap (Good People). Nice, pastel-colored, airy interior and a covered outside area. I have yet to try their food.

I want to love this place so badly because I can walk there from my home. But the food is just all over the map! The Cuban tacos are amazing, one of the best things I've ever eaten. Yet somehow the nachos are inedible, and the shrimp tacos feature what seems to be niblet corn out of a can. The kitchen here is like Forrest Gump's box of chocolates--you never know what you're gonna get. (Seriously, though, get the Cuban tacos.) The bar seems to be the main event, most of the food kind of an afterthought. It's so frustrating, because whoever is making those tacos is obviously capable of more. Maybe I'd be more impressed if I drank?

I recently dined at the new neighborhood restaurant, Cantina!, that serves authentic Mexican food and margaritas, and I must say it was a delightful experience. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a casual dinner with friends or a place to take the entire family.

In terms of value, the prices were reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food and drinks. It's clear that this restaurant takes pride in delivering authentic flavors without breaking the bank.

I can't wait to return to this neighborhood gem for more made from scratch Mexican and margaritas. Whether you're a taco aficionado or simply looking for a great meal in a comfortable setting, this restaurant is a must-visit.

Great margaritas with a great atmosphere. Food is outstanding and the service is perfect. Good value for what you get. Highly recommend if you like REAL Mexican food that is fresh.
