This place definitely needs more reviews and has to be in the top 10 restaurants in Birmingham. Spouse and I are avid fans and eaters of Middle Eastern food and the food here was amazing. The falafel is perfectly crispy from the outside and perfectly soft on the inside with great flavors. The hummus was sooooo good, reminded me of the hummus we ate last year visiting Jordan. They have some great sides as well. Their rice with lentils was very delicious. Everyone who works there was so nice and helpful. Their Pita was soft and warm and went great with all the food. Highly recommend eating here.
I was really surprised when I went in. I don't know what I was expecting, but it beat any expectations I would have had. Basically it's like Subway, but for Greek food. I got a Gyro, and simply asked the man working to make it how he would, since I didn't know what would be good. He did an amazing job, and I've been telling everyone I can about how good it was. Really good price for what you're getting, and the amount of food you get as well.
Good Mediterranean food in downtown Birmingham. I liked the chicken peta sandwich - don’t forget the red spicy sauce. Parking during rush hours is a problem.
I prefer this venue a lot. It has a happy atmosphere. The meals are good. the service is dynamic and the waiters are trained. The pay is modest. profoundly recommend.
Great service. Friendly staff. Convenient location near UAB. It's a tiny restaurant but they are very busy! I enjoyed Sinbad's when it was here but this place is a welcome addition too!
