Iron City Grill

Tried Iron City Grill out on a whim while I had some family in town visiting. It is now my new favorite spot! I’ve only had brunch so far, but it is soooo delicious. They also have GREAT $2 mimosas and bloody Mary’s available for weekend brunch. Seriously, try this place out because you will love it!

Really really nice and friendly staff that kept a conversation nicely! I’m on the keto diet and one of the male staff (didn’t get his name) suggested lots of great options! Food was awesome and service was EXTREMELY quick, especially for a Saturday night!

The appetizers were my favorite. The humus and grilled wings to be exact. I've never had sweet potato humus before, but I really enjoyed the taste of it with the pita bread they use. The wings tasted like I was at a family reunion getting them straight off the grill. Their sweet potato fries were great as well. I did not like the shrimp and grits. They were too salty for my liking and there was no other flavor noticed because of the salty taste. I had only a second bite of it to try it again to see if I could bear it, but couldn't. I just gave what I ordered to someone else and ate the fries as the fries ended up being more than enough. About time our waitress noticed my plate not really being touched, and asking if I wanted something else, we were about to leave. I would visit again, just will stay clear of what I had.

They created a brunch menu that was absolutely divine. The staff was exceptional. It's ideally located to get into and out of Birmingham. Great location for small to medium events. Great location for a date.

Great food, great atmosphere and the staff was extremely friendly. When the owner found out that my husband's last chemo treatment was what we were celebrating he even paid for his dinner. The owner has no clue who we are but extended such kindness to us. I would eat here regularly if we lived in this area. When visiting we will come back just due to this wonderful dining experience! ❤️
