While visiting Birmingham, AL and attending an event I stopped by Mugshots for a beer and food. This place had a full house and was able to accommodate our group. This food was really good for a bar and the service was good ruing the busy time we were there. We came back after the event and stayed for Happy Hour.
They take care of our boys in blue and really know how to go above and beyond the call of duty when it comes to customer service. The host (tall guy with long hair) has the best outfits ever and is great with everyone. Telvin (bartender) really knows his stuff and is calm cool and collected under pressure. Genuinely a great guy with a huge heart for people and his kid. He’s proud, humble and caring. Prices are cheap food is great, what more could a guy ask for? Only complaint is there needs to be more room, a place like this will have booming business. To the owners, managers and team... well done! You guys know your stuff and I will always give you my business!
Our sever Boots was awesome! He even took a picture with us cause were are festive! One of the best restaurant experiences. The food and wait staff was amazing and friendly! Definitely going back!!!
This place was very busy for a Friday night. It did have the least wait of all the surrounding restaurants. The service was stretched thin however. They were pleasant but not attentive. My drink tasted like carbonated water but I was unable to notify my server until the end of the meal. The food didn't take long to come out after placing the order. It tasted as expected. Well seasoned and delicious. They have some healthier options and fish options which were great.
We were going to have a 45 minute wait so opted to eat in the lounge. Glad we did. Service was great. Our servers were prompt and able to answer all of our questions both on food and things to do in the area. We had a combo appetizer plate and the egg rolls are superb. The Schmitty shrimp sandwich was great and the shrimp plentiful. I had the BLT served on their famous buns instead of the bread and it was awesome. Both sweet potato fries and their regular fries were good. You can even get half and half. All food served piping hot. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
