We came in around noon and there was no line. We ordered the parkway with catfish and shrimp with a double side of Cajun fries. I appreciate that the seafood was fried fresh and did not mind a short wait for my food. It was enough for us to share (we had just split an order of lumpia elsewhere).
The catfish and shrimp were perfectly seasoned and fried just right. The bread was soft and fresh, it reminded me of what I had in New Orleans. We put remoulade on one half and spicy mayo on the other….I preferred the remoulade. Grab some it’s only .50.
My only issue was the fries. We ordered double fries which wasn’t much at all. They were salty and kinda cool/room temp. Some are fried a bit harder which makes them slightly easier to consume but I would have preferred that fresh fries be dropped with our order. They were kept in a bowl under a heat lamp. I could have asked for fresh fries but I didn’t want to wait as a few ppl came and ordered after us. If I could give 4.5 stars instead of 4 I would because the Po’ boy was on point but I love fries and I’m offended when I don’t get fresh lol. I look forward to trying other options.

We stopped by for a treat for the kids after visiting the McWane center the other day and were pleasantly surprised by the full menu. The owner, Kelly, kept asking the kids their favorite colors and then went through each flavor that matched the color to help them decide the shaved ice flavor of their choice. When she got to Tiger's Blood by youngest giggled and asked if he would turn into an actual tiger - to which she simply said - "Maybe" with a wink. I appreciated her taking the time to engage my crazy group and personalizing each one of their treats that afternoon.

While the kids ate, i was able to indulge in one of their poboys. I got the SLT and my husband got the Catfish Box. I have no clue what they are putting in that batter but it has to be magic. Simply delicious!

    We will definitely be back!

Pretty much one of the best poboys I've had in a long time - outside of New Orleans. I got the SLT and my lunch companion got the Catfish Parkway. Everything was perfect - and that sauce they put on the SLT? Amazing! Can't wait to try the rest of the menu!
Oh! Our NOLA Ice was great too. Get the Tiger's blood. The team was really patient with us while we were deciding on the flavors and the owner even took the time to go through certain ones to help describe them and tell us which were the most popular and which went perfectly with their NOLA Cream. Definitely get the Tiger's Blood with NOLA Cream.
