Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen

My family and I enjoyed a wonderful lunch on a Saturday afternoon. The atmosphere was great. The servers were well informed. The fresh fish entrees were fabulous. The baked oyster sampler was a treat. I enjoy The Fish Market in Birmingham, but I think Pappadeaux is a step above. It will definitely be my go to place for seafood when visiting BHM.

First time going and I really enjoyed it. The atmosphere was very nice and the food is really good. I plan to make this a regular stop. I had the stuffed trout. I recommend this dish to anyone. Please bring your appetite because the portions are huge.

Nice place, good atmosphere. But had to track someone down to get a seat. And the food wasn't very hot when it arrived. Prices are too high for the food you get in my opinion. The dessert was well worth it though and tasted amazing.

I enjoyed everything about it. The food was delicious I had shrimp and grits they were the creamiest I've ever had. The service was great from being seated quickly to our order taken. The food arrived quickly served hot and fresh. Our server was very attentive and our drinks were never out. Very friendly atmosphere...I definitely recommend and will go back.

We were in town for job training. A of us had eaten at the Birmingham, Alabama location about 2 weeks ago and the food was great. Our waitress that night was just okay and we had decided to not come back because of her. Our last night in town 2 of us decided to give it another try. I am so glad we did. The food was phenomenal and our waiter, TY, was AMAZING. They definitely need to keep this young man on staff. He is kind, courteous and friendly. He had a smile on his face when he was at our table, our neighbors table and even when at the register over in the corner. We never had to ask for anything. He always kept our drink glasses filled. I live 153 miles from Birmingham but because of TY I am willing to drive back to this restaurant and eat again on any weekend. Thanks TY for giving us the best experience. I believe you are truly the BEST waiter I have ever encountered.
