Very pleasant staff. Quick, efficient service. The food is fresh and a nice beer list. (no draft, though) Some interesting mixed drink options, as well. My friend had the Coral Bay Sliders, which consist of two conecuh sausage sliders, pimento cheese, comes with house-made green tomato chow-chow and fries. I had the fish and chips (which is only available on Fridays). Crispy on the outside, moist and tender on the inside. This place will definitely be a part of our rotation. Oh, also, they have a large outside seating area that looks like it might be a fun place for night time gatherings.

The new JaMango Me Crazy burger is insanely good. I thought nothing could top the fish and chips, but this tasty burger is giving that fried food a serious run for its money.
This place has a great relaxed atmosphere, cheap cocktails and everything on the menu is delicious. Go now!

Really great vegan options. I personally love their Caribbean pasta. Owners are very nice. Love this place!

My mom and I went for brunch today and had the best experience. The food was amazing and the service even better. My mother had gotten up to grab salt and pepper from a server’s cart and when the server saw, he apologized for her having to do that. My mom made an off-hand comment about being a mom and being used to getting up several times before eating. A few minutes later he came back to us, brought us a bottle of champagne and told us to remember it’s important for mothers to relax too. Such a sweet gesture and combined with how wonderful the food was, we will definitely be back!

Love this place!! We just discovered The Thirsty Donkey right before we moved out of Birmingham, and that makes us super sad because they have some of the best food and the nicest people we've ever encountered!! Keep in mind that they are located in the ever-expanding food Mecca known as Avondale, so they do get very busy on some days. We went for brunch on a Sunday and it wasn't too bad. Their banana bread french toast is absolutely out of this world, and they have plenty of vegetarian and vegan options like the hash bowl! Check them out if you are in the area!
