The Battery

After seeing reviews for The Battery, we were looking forward to giving it a shot. Unfortunately, the meal didn't live up to our expectations. The chicken wings were moist and delicious, but the drumsticks were dry and tough. Similarly, the grilled cheese was unexpectedly soft and fell short of that golden, crispy standard that makes a grill cheese so special. However, it wasn't all misses. The saving grace of the meal was Mama's fried chicken, which was delectable—a recipe they've certainly perfected. All in all, our visit was a mixed bag—some hits, mostly misses. We see the potential and hope that with some tweaks, every dish could shine.

17 oz Bone-in Pork Chop with seasonal potatoes and crispy Brussels Sprouts had a delicious flavor combination all around. 10/10 recommend!

Food was delicious. We had smoked wings, mac and cheese, Smashburger with Bacon. Highly recommend adding the bacon, it was a smoked bacon and gave it a wonderful taste. Got food to go, bartender was reading text messages and didn't notice me waiting at first.

The atmosphere was smooth with soft rock in the background. The food by Chef Jeff Compton and my server was Kalle. She was great in remembering my order and she mix me a smoke hickory bacon Manhattan,that was for the God's. The salmon over asparagus and sweet potatoes was amazing. Thanks,

Our AAU basketball team is in town for a tournament from Texas, and we chose to eat here for brunch. The menu has a nice variety of food, and the food is delicious. The drinks are also good and reasonably priced. We were seated quickly with a party of 20+, and the food was served in a timely manner. Our waitress, Camie, was great as well! She checked on us frequently and ensured we had everything we needed at all times. It’s a family friendly sports bar with outdoor and indoor seating. Several TV’s with multiple games, and the surround sound on a specific game. Would definitely visit this place again when in Alabama!
