Moe's Original BBQ - Hoover

I had the pulled pork platter. It was very good! I had mac and cheese and black eyed peas; both good. Cornbread was exceptional. I'll be back. Friendly staff a definite plus!!

We were just coming through town and wanted a place to have lunch that had outdoor dining. Everyone we encountered was very accommodating and friendly. The food was pretty decent but nothing to rave over. All things considered, I'd go back just because of the friendly attitude of all the staff.

The food here was excellent! I had the redneck nachos and they were great. The portion was enormous and the toppings were fresh. Their BBQ sauce is really something special. The atmosphere was nice and laid back and the servers were very nice and attentive. I am already trying to decide what I will be trying on my next visit.

I've been here often with friends and family and I'm rarely disappointed. Good solid Alabama BBQ with their own spin on white sauce, and a regular red sauce that's a bit tangy. Sometimes the sliced meat is slightly dry but I've never had a problem with the pulled meat. Beer selection is usually good with a seasonal rotation in addition to the old reliables. Not expensive for the quantity that you get. The location by the movie theater has a lot of TVs too.
