“We did takeout from Ester’s for a large group. The online ordering and pay was easy and convenient, as no two orders were alike. They thoughtfully phoned me moments later to let me know there would be a five minute delay on the mac & cheese, as they were making it fresh. I’ve come to expect a bit bland from healthy restaurants, so I was very excited how great the food was. Everyone in our diverse group of eaters loved what they ordered, from the vegans to the steak and mac devotees. Some of the standouts were the chicken salad, the Israeli couscous, the carrots, the tomato and mozzarella... well, actually, everything we tried was amazing. I was visiting from out of town, and would have loved to have picked up from them again... maybe even the catering size chicken salad to take home, but we had to leave before they opened. I sincerely wish we had an Ester’s at home. You will love this place.”

“Ice in Paradise is one of the odd little gems in the Central area. The food is excellent and the staff are very friendly and helpful. It's a bit small inside and is often fairly hot, as the AC doesn't seem to work too well, but they serve ice cream to cool you off :) I've eaten here a few times and the food has always been excellent. The ice cream is great as well. It's easy to find and very convenient. They also offer take out, which is very nice for a work night.”

“Went through the drive thru this evening. Ordered two of the combos one with a turkey club and a scoop of classic carol... the thing is I only got a sandwich! No chicken salad to be found. I paid for a sandwich and a scoop of chicken salad not just one! After I got home, I tried calling and was hung up on not once but TWICE. I agree with another review, these employees need to be more pleasant and attentive to customers. The food that we received was great! I will wait a little while for y’all to get the bugs worked out then I will try again.”

“Swampers Bar & Grille is a great restaurant located inside the Marriott Shoals. The menu offers several great choices for each meal along with a daily breakfast buffet and a Sunday lunch buffet. Every night there is live music from 5-7 and 8-11pm. A musician schedule is available on their Facebook page. After your meal or while you wait for your meal to be served, take some time to view the excellent photo collection of musicians who are connected to the Shoals area. Most of the time, there is no wait for seating. Outdoor seating is available year round with the patio enclosed and fire pits operation during cooler months. Swampers is a great place to dine, drink, and hang out!”
