Food not as good anymore. I loved this place and at one time it was one of my favorites. The last few times I've dined in and even ordered out have been disappointing. However, the owner and staff are top notch. Would love for it to be better again!!! Very entertaining!

Great atmosphere! Wonderful staff! Food is Amazing! Great place to eat for families, date night, celebrations or even take out! Definitely worth a few visits or more! ????????????????☺️☺️????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

It could have been a five, but we had several things that just didn't go over well for us.

1. We were surprised that dessert was included in the meals. However, as another reviewer here has said, they do not offer the dessert, so unless you ask you'll never get it. We were in a large party of 20 or so, so we weren't about to address it in that atmosphere, so we left feeling very frustrated and disappointed. This seems to be general practice, because, what restaurant doesn't ask if you want dessert? We also felt a bit rushed to get the ticket closed.

2. Our waiter checked on us twice; however didn't bring a replacement spilled water we had asked for.

The food was great and the chef was great. Our table loved who cooked dinner for us. However, the experience is more than a stir-fry you can easily cook at home – it's about the start to finish, service, food, chef, dessert. The food and chef were enjoyable.

Price for two: $46.86 (18% tip included, two waters, and $2 fried rice)

I've been to their Albany, GA location several times. I'm so blessed to now live in Auburn. We often order take-out, and when time allows we get to go have the full Mikata hibachi experience which never disappoints. Their sushi is delicious. All the Chefs are entertaining, and the food is consistently on point and fresh. No matter a birthday or just a meal after work, Mikatas is always one of our top places to dine.
