Can only comment on Sunday brunch which was very good. Menu is small but a good mix and the food was very good. Full bar. It's small, only a dozen or so 4 seat tables so definitely make a reservation. All in all a very nice place to eat, would be happy to return to next time in the area.
Held a private dinner in their Cedar Pipe Room on Friday Oct 25. Food and service (Manny) were great. And Stephanie L. (who made our arrangements) went above and beyond securing flowers and balloons in place for our arrival at this 60th birthday gathering. Well done. Thanks.
We went to celebrate our Anniversary. Food was fantastic. Perfectly cooked filet and scallops were best I've had.
Would recommend for that special occasion!
Had a Sunday brunch here. Pricing was reasonable, menu is somewhat limited and skip desert. The lobster ravioli was good but only 4 ravioli, the fried green tomato benedict was good and a nice portion. They have a nice wine menu and if they are out of the by the glass they will upgrade you. We liked the relaxed meal but they don't attend to water or clearing of plates. Skip the desert, I was looking forward to the lemon chiffon cake but I got a cold dense cake right out of the refrigerator. Nothing light and airy about it. The frosting was hard as a rock. The ice cream with the chocolate crunch cake was delicious. If you limit your choices you won't be disappointed.
Atmosphere the restaurant physically cultivated was excellent. The staff was polite, but a bit impertinent. One of my three companions ordered a tea, and it didn't arrive until an hour later. Probably just a mistake. The food was good, but a tad overpriced for the portions and quality. Not terrible, but definitely not --what I feel-- should be considered average for the standards to which that restaurant aspires.
